Timothy Shrout

Tim Shrout earned his BS in Biology from Juniata College and Masters in Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.   He has been teaching Living Environment and Middle level science at Maple Grove Junior Senior High School for seven years.  Mr. Shrout has also offered Biology a Molecular Approach through Jamestown Community College. He has been an Envirothon advisor, and wrestling coach for the past six years. Mr. Shrout has been involved with curriculum development for several science courses, and has been involved with implementation of new technologies in his classroom. He enjoys skiing, camping, and trips to the beach with his wife and two sons. Mr. Shrout is new to the Master Teacher program, and is looking forward to implementing new, inquiry-based strategies and technologies in his classroom.
