Steven Solazzo

Steven Solazzo began his teaching career in 2000 at Pembroke High School before accepting his current high school mathematics position at Maryvale High School in 2001.  He currently holds an undergraduate and master's degrees from SUNY Buffalo, and he is starting an Educational Leadership degree from Niagara University in the Fall of 2014.  Steven currently teaches Common Core Geometry, Pre Calculus, and a dual accreditation Calculus through Niagara University.  His interests include mentoring new and pre-service teachers looking to begin their careers in the Mathematics Education field, and implementing technology to allow his students to communicate both in and out of the classroom.Steven is a member of AMTNYS and the 9-12 Mathematics Department Chair.
