Stephanie Reddien earned her BA in Middle Childhood and Adolescent Mathematics Education from Niagara University and her MS in Mathematics Education from the University at Buffalo. Since 2007, Mrs. Reddien has been teaching math at Amherst Central High School in Amherst, NY, where she has been has been recognized as Teacher of the Month twice. Mrs. Reddien currently teaches Advanced Placement Calculus, College Precalculus and Regents Geometry, and is a co-advisor of the Amherst Central Math Team. Mrs. Reddien is pursuing her Ed.D. in the Learning and Teaching in Social Contexts program at the University at Buffalo. Her research will focus on adolescent math education highlighting the social and collaborative nature of learning. She is a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the Association of Mathematics Teachers of New York State and the Mathematics Education Students and Alumni Association at the University at Buffalo.
