Sarah Kszanak
PS 301 Burgard High School ScienceSarah Kszanak holds a BA in Biology from the University at Buffalo and an MS Ed. in Secondary Science Education (Biology 7–12) from Canisius University. She has been teaching since 2008 and is passionate about inspiring students through science education. She currently teaches Regents Biology at PS 301 Burgard High School in Buffalo, NY. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she serves as the Science Lead Teacher and advisor for the school’s STEM Fair Club. She also co-organizes the biannual American Red Cross Blood Drive. As a member of the National Science Teachers Association and the Science Teachers Association of New York State, Mrs. Kszanak stays connected to the latest developments in science education. Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Kszanak enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, and camping with her husband and three daughters. As a Master Teacher, Mrs. Kszanak looks forward to collaborating with other Master Teachers to share innovative ideas and strategies. She is eager to learn from her peers and contribute to a community dedicated to improving education for all students.
