International Preparatory School at Grover Cleveland Math

Sara Enser earned her BA in Mathematics Education and her MSEd in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) from Niagara University. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Ms. Enser taught abroad in Chile for a year as an English language consultant for English teachers. Ms. Enser has been teaching at the International Preparatory School at Grover Cleveland in the Buffalo Public School system for the past 9 years and is currently teaching high school Geometry. Ms. Enser is an advisor for the Student Spaceflight Experiments Program (SSEP) where students sent an actual experiment to the International Space Station for testing, while conducting a control experiment here for comparison. Ms. Enser is also co-directing and choreographing the school’s first ever musical. She has previously participated in a Professional Learning Team on Mathematical Investigations and the use of Formative Assessment Lessons to Deepen Learning. As an active NYS Master Teacher, Ms. Enser looks forward to learning new ways to bring innovative STEM content into the math classroom to share with her students.
