Sara Bush earned her BA in Mathematics Elementary Education and a MS in Foundations of Special Education also from Niagara University. Mrs. Bush has been in the classroom since 2000 where she currently teaches 6th grade Mathematics. In the past she has taught all levels of middle school math 6-8, academic intervention services, self-contained math classes and for a couple years she worked in the elementary school in the role of academic intervention specialist with grades 1, 2 and 4. Mrs. Bush is a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) and the Association of Mathematics Teachers of New York State (AMTNYS). Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Bush is a mom of three very active girls. In her free time she enjoys attending their sporting and school events, camping and spending time with her family. Mrs. Bush is very excited to be part of the Master Teachers program and looks forward to learning and collaborating with colleagues from across the state.
