Sandra George

Sandi George earned her BS in Physics at Buffalo State in 1998, and her MS in Earth Science Education from Buffalo State College.  Mrs. George’s professional career includes 17 years of teaching Physics, Earth Science, Natural Disasters, Paleontology and AP B & AP C Physics and College Physics at Frontier High School.  She enjoys working with pre-service teachers and helping all students develop a more meaningful understanding and love of science.  Sandi is proud to be an active member of STANYS, serving as the Western Section Chair for the past 5 years and now on the STANYS Executive Board as the Association Treasurer.   She is also a member of NSTA and has been attending the NSTA conference for the past3 years.  She is honored to be participating in the Master Teacher Program and enjoys the learning opportunities the program has allowed her.
