Samantha Maulucci
Iroquois Senior High School ScienceSamantha Maulucci earned her BS in Chemistry Education from Niagara University and her MSEd in Differentiated Instruction from St. Bonaventure University and is certified to teach Special Education in addition to Chemistry. Miss Maulucci has been teaching since 2010 and currently teaches Regents Chemistry, Niagara University Senior Term Enrichment Program (NUSTEP) Forensics, Introduction to Biomedical Sciences, Science Fact or Fiction and STEM for students with exceptionalities courses at Iroquois High School. Miss Maulucci is also an active member of Science Teachers Association of NYS (STANYS), American Chemical Society (ACS) and the American Association of Chemistry Teachers (AACT) and enjoys attending professional conferences. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she is a Teacher Mentor for new teachers at Iroquois and is an advisor of the STEM Leadership Club, which is a student-led club that develops an annual community-wide STEM night. She has also served on her high school Building Leadership Team and been an Assistant Coach for Modified and Varsity Cheerleading. Over the past several years, Miss Maulucci has had the opportunity to work with students in completing and presenting research in gene annotations in conjunction with The Western New York Genetics in Research Partnership at UB. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with family & friends and her dog, Winnie. As a NYS Master Teacher, she is looking forward to opportunities to collaborate with other teachers and how to support pre-service teachers as they enter the field of teaching.
