Ronald Perry
Heim Elementary School Math SpecialistRonald Perry received his A.A. in Journalism from SUNY Morrisville and then received his B.A. in Broadcast/Communication from Buffalo State. He later received his M.S. in Education at Buffalo State. He continued his education with an administrative degree (C.A.S. in Educational Leadership) from Buffalo State. After 11 years as a classroom teacher, Ron is now a K-4 Math Specialist at Heim Elementary School in the Williamsville School District (13 years). He is a building and district math committee member, PLT co-facilitator, and a PD presenter for his school and for local conferences. As an active member of AMTNYS and NCTM he attends state and regional conferences to stay current in the mathematics field. Now in his 24th year of teaching, he is feeling refreshed in his 3rd year of the MTP and tackling various curriculum writing endeavors, such as writing for Greg Tang. As a Master Teacher he thoroughly enjoys being part of a professional learning cohort focused on best practices in mathematics. He has a dream of helping to produce the ultimate math intervention handbook that will truly close the gap of all struggling students.
