Paul Caban

Paul Caban has taught in the Depew School District for 14 years. In that time he has instructed middle school physical science, Regents Physics, Forensics, and currently teaches Regents Earth Science and Astronomy. Paul developed the elective Astronomy course curriculum at Depew and enjoys sharing his love of observational astronomy with his students. He was the boys varsity soccer coach at Depew for the last seven years and recently accepted the men's assistant soccer coach position at NCCC. Paul earned his B.S. in Earth Science Secondary Education and his Masters in Educational Computing from Buffalo State. Paul is passionate about student driven instruction and plans to apply more pedagogical techniques from the Master Teacher Program such as the flipped classroom and Kagan cooperative learning.
