Patrick Creamer
Edward Town Middle School BiologyPatrick Creamer earned his BS in Biology Education and his MSEd in Biology Education from Buffalo State. While at Buffalo State, he studied the environmental impacts of Buffalo’s industrial legacy as a National Council on Undergraduate Research Lancy Scholar and Research Fellow. Mr. Creamer was named the Great Lakes Model Educator for 2020 by NY SeaGrant. In his 20th year at Edward Town Middle School (ETMS), he currently teaches 7th grade science. Outside of the classroom, Mr. Creamer is advisor to the ETMS Outdoor Adventure Club and the Yearbook Club, member of the Niagara Wheatfield Comprehensive District Education Plan Committee, and chair of the sub-committee overseeing the Niagara Wheatfield “Eco-Campus Project” which aims to significantly reduce the environmental impacts of the NW MS/HS Campus. For 10 years, he has been an adjunct professor in the biology department at Erie Community College and is also the Earth Science SAR for the Northwestern Section of Science Teachers Association of NYS. During the summer, he volunteers with Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper conducting water sampling. When not teaching, he enjoys many outdoor pursuits including hiking the Adirondack High Peaks and working with his family to rehabilitate “Camp Forever”, the Adirondack campground his grandfather opened in the early 1970’s. As a NYS Master Teacher, Mr. Creamer looks forward to learning from others, sharing his experiences in teaching and growing as a STEM educator.
