Pamela Urbanek
Clarence Central School TechnologyPamela Urbanek earned her B.S. in Technology Education and her M.S. in Educational Computing from The State University of New York College at Buffalo. Ms. Urbanek has been a Technology and Engineering teacher in the Clarence School District for 21 years and has been a Master Teacher for Project Lead the Way for 17 years. As a PLTW instructor and Master Teacher, Ms. Urbanek enjoys her role training teachers from across the globe in the Gateway to Technology Curriculum. Ms. Urbanek helped Clarence Middle School earn the PLTW Model School Award for their classroom implementation of the Energy and the Environment Curriculum. As a Wind Senator, Ms. Urbanek leads professional training workshops and helps run the KidWind Challenge at the Erie County Community and Niagara County Community College Tech Wars. To better prepare her students for Tech Wars, Ms. Urbanek is an advisor for her school’s Engineering Club. Pamela has been active as the Vice President for the Western New York Technology Educators Association since 2004. As a New York State Master Teacher, Pamela looks forward to working with other Master Teachers to find different ways to integrate technology, engineering, and computer science into the core subject areas.
