
Nadezda Mease
Niagara Falls High School ScienceNadezda Mease holds an MSEd in Science Education with a focus on Earth Science (Grades 7–12) and a BS in Earth Science from Buffalo State University. She also earned an A.A. in Liberal Arts and Sciences from SUNY Niagara. Mrs. Mease is a dedicated science educator with a strong background in Earth Science. She has been teaching since 2014 and is currently an Earth and Space Science teacher for 9th grade at Niagara Falls High School. Mrs. Mease is deeply involved in advancing science education. She serves on the curriculum development committee for New York State Science Learning Standards, leads the school’s science fair committee, and directs the after-school science club. Beyond the classroom, she is the Director of the Northwestern Section of the Science Teachers Association of New York and Vice President of the New York Earth Science Teachers Association. She actively participates in the Buffalo Geological Association and volunteers with Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper, focusing on water testing initiatives. A passionate advocate for hands-on learning, Mrs. Mease enjoys traveling, hiking, and sharing her love for geology through her extensive rock and mineral collection. Every spring, she involves her students in planting trees, fostering environmental stewardship. As a recent inductee into the New York State Master Teacher Program, Mrs. Mease looks forward to collaborating with fellow educators to promote science education and inspire the next generation of scientists in her community.
