Melissa Reedy
Ellicottville Central School MathematicsMelissa Reedy earned her BA in Mathematics Education 7-12 from SUNY Fredonia, MA in Education from Canisius College, extension of Grades 5 and 6 in Mathematics Education from Canisius College, and a certification in Special Education – Mathematics 7-12 from SUNY Buffalo State. Mrs. Reedy has taught for 17 years, spending the majority of her career at Ellicottville Central School. At Ellicottville, Mrs. Reedy has taught Algebra, Precalculus, Consumer Math, as well as classes for Jamestown Community College through their College Connections program. She also serves as the advisor to the Class of 2021 and advisor to Student Council. For the past 2 years, Melissa has served on the Wellness Committee for the district which main focus is on the mental health of the student body and how to improve the districts efforts in reaching students. Melissa is very excited to be a part of the Master Teacher Program and extending her knowledge of STEM with improvements to her classroom.
