Mary Katherine Flett

Marykay Flett earned both her BS of Education and MS of Special Education at SUNY College at Buffalo. She has taught for since 1995 in the Lancaster Central School District. For the vast majority of those years she has taught 4th grade. She currently teaches 4th grade Science, at William Street School, in the Lancaster Central School District, on a Consultant Team. She has been an active member of the district's Science Committee for career. Marykay is a Board Member of the Western Section of Science Teachers of New York State as both in charge of membership for the Western Section and as an Elementary Co-Subject Area Representative. This is her 6th year as the Elementary Subject Area Representative. Mrs. Flett is looking forward to participating and learning in the high-quality professional development offered by New York State Master Teacher Program. She is excited to take her new knowledge back to her students and to create exciting new activities with her students.
