Mary Beth Richey
East Aurora High School MathematicsMary Beth Richey earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from LeMoyne College and a Master of Science Degree in Mathematics Education from Syracuse University. Mary Beth has been teaching mathematics at several high schools and colleges across New York State for the past 31 years. Since 2001 she has been teaching Algebra 2 and AP Calculus AB at East Aurora High School. Mary Beth is a teacher in the STEM Program at East Aurora High School in which a select group of students enroll in integrated courses in the STEM disciplines throughout their four years of high school. Mary Beth recently began Flipping her Algebra 2 classes. She is interested in the use of technology in the math classroom and participated in the 2014 and 2015 Toyota-RIT Applied Math Initiative. Mary Beth has presented on various Math topics at conferences at Alfred State, Canisius College and Nazareth College of Rochester. Mary Beth is the Math Department Chairperson and National Honor Society Advisor, as well as a member of AMTNYS and NCTM.
