Mark Dubel earned his BS in Environmental Science from SUNY Plattsburgh and MS in Secondary Education from D’Youville College. Prior to teaching, Mark spent 10 years working as an analytical chemist in the agricultural and environmental chemistry field. While he is certified in chemistry and biology, his teaching career of 13 years has focused primarily on chemistry and the physical sciences. He currently teaches Regents Chemistry, AP Chemistry, Perspectives in Science and Engineering and the Niagara University Senior Term Enrichment Program (NUSTEP) Forensics course at Iroquois High School.  Mark is a member of the Building Leadership Team and is also the advisor for the Team America Rocketry Challenge Club where students work with local aerospace engineers to design, build and fly model rockets based on annual contest criteria. He is a member of Science Teachers Association of New York State, the American Association of Chemistry Teachers and the National Association of Rocketry. Outside the classroom Mark enjoys hiking, backpacking, camping kayaking, skiing and running.
