Grand Island High School BiologyLaura Briganti earned an AAS in Individual Studies from Alfred State College, and both BS and MS degrees in Biology Education from Buffalo State. Laura is certified in Biology, Chemistry and Earth Science and has taught a variety of courses throughout her 23 years of teaching experience. She has taught Honors Biology at Grand Island High School for the last 16 years. She has served as the Interact Club advisor for the past 10 years, encouraging students to organize and participate in community service activities. She is also passionate about healthy eating and the many benefits of a plant based diet. Laura is a member of both Science Teachers Association of New York State and National Science Teachers Association.
