Kristina Tomei

Kristina Tomei earned her degree in chemistry in 2006 at Union College in Schenectady, NY.  She earned her Masters in Chemical Education at the University of Buffalo in 2011. Kristina began teaching at Starpoint High School in 2008 and currently teaches Regents Chemistry and AP Chemistry. She enjoys helping students learn how to be better problem solvers by using critical thinking and is interested in incorporating new technology into her classroom. Kristina enjoys teaching chemistry because it helps explain so many every day events and phenomena that students would otherwise never question. Kristina is also a member of STANYS, the Varsity field hockey coach, and a Science Honor Society Co-Advisor.
