Kirsten Provenzano
Roy B. Kelley Elementary School ElementaryKirsten Provenzano earned her BS in Elementary Education from Methodist University in North Carolina, and her MS in Elementary Education from the University at Buffalo. Mrs. Provenzano has taught in the Lockport City School District since 2006, as a third-grade, Kindergarten, and currently is a fourth grade teacher. Mrs. Provenzano teaches all subject areas in her classroom. She was lead teacher and a 3-D printing project in her classroom in 2016-2017, where the class printed a working prosthetic hand for a classmate born without fingers. She had also conducted a major recycling project in her classroom in which the students recycled over 7,000 milk cartons from a landfill. In her spare time Mrs. Provenzano loves to be working in her garden and spending time outside. As a New York State Master Teacher, Mrs. Provenzano is looking forward to collaborating with other STEM teachers, bringing new ideas to her fourth-grade classroom, and working as a mentor to future teachers!
