Kelli Garlock earned her M.S.Ed. in Literacy Instruction and her B.A. in Childhood and Special Education from Niagara University. Mrs. Garlock is in her 11th year of teaching at Starpoint Central School District. Throughout this time, Mrs. Garlock has been fortunate to work with students at various grade levels and in different capacities. She has experience as a general education teacher, a consultant teacher, and a self-contained special education teacher. She is currently teaching fourth grade at Douglas J. Regan Intermediate School. In addition to teaching, Mrs. Garlock is a Grade Level Specialist, a member of her school’s Leadership Council, a member of her district’s math committee, and a teacher liaison for her district’s Parent Teacher Association. You can also find Mrs. Garlock around Starpoint’s campus, chaperoning activities and sporting events. Mrs. Garlock has guided pre-service teachers, co-taught with student teachers, and mentored new teachers in her school district. Mrs. Garlock is a Buffalo Bills season ticket holder. She enjoys planning trips for her family and friends, traveling, and shopping. As a New York State Master Teacher, Mrs. Garlock is eager to collaborate with and learn from others. She is looking forward to implementing new ideas and practices in her classroom, as well as sharing them with her colleagues.
