Kathleen Wheeler

Kathleen Wheeler earned her B.S. in Elementary Education (K–6) and Special Education (K–12) and her M.S. in Special Education from Daemen University. With over 20 years of experience teaching every grade K–4, she now serves as a Math Specialist at Dodge Elementary in the Williamsville Central School District. Mrs. Wheeler supports students in Kindergarten through fourth grade, inspiring confidence and curiosity in mathematics while building strong foundational skills. She co‑leads the school Math Team, provides professional development, and mentors novice teachers. She is passionate about inclusive, high‑quality math instruction that empowers diverse learners. Before becoming a Master Teacher, she participated in several NYS Master Teacher Program mini‑courses and is excited to continue growing alongside fellow Master Teachers. Outside of school, she and her daughter run a small home‑based bakery specializing in pies.
