Kathleen Sugg

Katie earned her BS in Biology from SUNY Geneseo, her teaching certifications from D'Youville College, and her MS in Biology from SUNY Fredonia.  Her background in teaching spans more than two decades and includes working in the Buffalo Public, Silver Creek Central, Williamsville Central, and Clarence Central Schools (where she has been since 1997).  Katie has coached swimming and diving, and is a co-facilitator of BioShare.  Before becoming a Master Teacher, Katie was a part of the Biology and Chemistry Professional Development Network (previously Biology Mentor Network).  She loves sharing her love of Biology and the Human Body with her students and is looking forward to working with and learning from the other amazing Master Teachers. Katie is also a member of STANYS and NABT.
