Kathleen Marren

Kathleen Marren earned her BS in Environmental Studies from The University of North Carolina Wilmington and her MS Ed. in Secondary Education (Biology 7-12) from Canisius College.  Mrs. Marren has earned a Certificate of Teacher Leadership from Niagara University as well as taken additional coursework at Buffalo State to enhance her science content knowledge.  Her professional career includes 17 years of teaching Environmental Science, Living Environment and Living Environment laboratories as well as serving as an Instructional Coach for Science teachers.  Mrs. Marren is currently teaching for Buffalo Public Schools at South Park High School.  She is a member of her school’s Community Engagement Team and serves as the chairperson for South Park’s Wellness Team.  In her spare time Mrs. Marren enjoys spending time horseback riding, gardening and beekeeping.  She’s looking forward to collaborating with and learning from teachers from across the region.
