John Elliott

John Elliott decided to become a science teacher while he was creating an after school science program for an elementary school in Seoul, South Korea. He began his teaching career at Oracle Charter School, teaching Earth Science and AP Environmental Science. John currently teaches Regents Chemistry and Living Environment at Sweet Home High School. He coaches the chess club, and represents the science department on a building level team. With a strong interest in multi-disciplinary problems, such as ocean acidification and paleoclimatology, he seeks to engage his students in problem-based learning opportunities. John is a member of STANYS, and NSTA.
