
Jessica Daigler
Orchard Park Middle School MathJessica Daigler earned her master’s degree in Literacy from the University at Buffalo (UB), where she became a certified Literacy Specialist. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Niagara University in both Math Education (grades 5–12) and Special Education. Jessica is currently a 7th grade math teacher at Orchard Park Middle School. She began her teaching career in 2010 at City Honors School in Buffalo, teaching science and math in a program specifically designed for students with autism. Since joining Orchard Park in 2015, she has taught 6th, 7th, 8th, and accelerated Algebra courses. This year, she is teaching 7th grade Math and 7th grade Accelerated Math. She helps organize her school’s STEAM Expo and serves as a co-advisor for the school’s Kindness Club. While she has always had a love for math, she has recently developed a strong interest in science, particularly through the biology of gardening. She is passionate about encouraging students of all ability levels to find success in math. As a member of the NYS Master Teacher Program, she is excited to develop new and innovative ways to engage students in STEM-related projects and curriculum extensions.
