Jennifer Lumia
Jamestown School District BiologyJennifer Lumia earned both her BS and MS in biology from SUNY Fredonia. She has 23 years of teaching experience in the Chicago Public School and Jamestown Public School districts. Jennifer is currently teaching Living Environment and AP Biology at Jamestown High School where she has taught molecular biology for college credit, coached volleyball, chaperoned ski club, started a running group for girls, and even sang in a rock band comprised of teachers. She is a member of the Jamestown High School Equity Committee and participates in the biology professional learning community. Jennifer spends her vacations with her family visiting our country’s national parks. She is excited about the opportunities the Master Teacher Program provides to learn more about the natural world and to collaborate with other teachers of Regents and AP Biology.
