Jennifer Gazdovich earned her BA in Physics and MS in Science Education from SUNY Buffalo State College. In the classroom for 9 years, Mrs. Gazdovich teaches Physics at the Regents and AP Levels at Kenmore West High School, serves as an advisor for Physics Club and Video Game Club and is the head coach for the schools Science Olympiad team. Mrs. Gazdovich is an active member of the Western New York Physics Teacher Alliance, QuarkNet, and CERN’s (European Organization for Nuclear Research) High School Teacher group where she worked with a group of physics teachers from 35 countries where she published a paper in The Physics Teacher with her group on modeling PET scans in the classroom. She loves teaching and inspiring the young men and woman in her classroom to pursue careers in STEM. Mrs. Gazdovich has previously joined Master Teachers in PLT meetings and looks forward to more collaboration with her fellow educators to continue her learning as well as assisting others in their teaching career.
