Jean Baker
Frontier Central School Chemistry and PhysicsJean Baker earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University at Buffalo and an MBA at Niagara University. She began her career at DuPont in Niagara Falls where she worked as an R&D chemical engineer, quality engineer, chemical laboratory supervisor, and production supervisor. She taught college chemistry and accounting at Erie Community College and Villa Maria College and marketing at Bryant & Stratton College. Jean began teaching at Frontier Central High School in 1997 after becoming certified in Chemistry, Physics, and General Science through a program at the University at Buffalo. She is currently serving as Frontier Central School District's HS/MS Mentor Coordinator, Student Government advisor, summer school teacher, and private tutor. She volunteers as a member of ECC's Biomanufacturing Advisory Board. Jean is also a member of NSTA and STANYS.
