Jason Farrell
Williamsville Central School DistrictJason Farrell received his B.S. in Technology Education from Oswego in 2000, and his Masters in Technology Education from Buffalo State in 2004. Jason has taught Engineering and Technology Education at Williamsville South High School for 15 years. He is also an adjunct professor at Buffalo State College in the Engineering and Technology Department where he instructs Technology Education majors in Communication Systems. Jason is a certified instructor in the Project Lead the Way curriculum of Design and Drawing for Production, Digital Electronics, and Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems. In conjunction with that his additional instructional responsibilities include Manufacturing and Materials Processing, Construction Systems, and Automotive Systems. He has co-advised the Stage Crew, Yearbook and Technology Education clubs and worked closely with the Science and Science Olympiad groups. Jason is an active member in the Akron Lions Club, a community service organization committed to meeting the needs of their community and promoting peace and humanitarian needs. In conjunction with that he also is a member of the Western New York Technology Education Association. Jason enjoys teaching STEM courses because of the empowerment they give students to generate creative solutions to complex technological problems. He is eager to work with other Master Teachers in the Science and Mathematics fields to add interdisciplinary connections and rigor his dynamic engineering and technology curricula. In addition to that He looks forward to participating in the Make, and Big Science Uploads Professional Learning Teams.
