During this 20th year of teaching, Ms. Wawrowski holds the position of Mathematics Specialist for grades 6-8 at William G. Houston Middle School in the Evans-Brant School District. Currently, Ms. Wawrowski is the assistant coach for the modified swim team. From 2010-1017, she coached the Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Program. After 7 successful years, Ms. Wawrowski resigned from the varsity position to spend more time raising her two young children. The Master Teachers' program is the next adventure in Ms. Wawrowski's journey through life. She looks forward to participating in the professional collaboration and experiences offered. Ms. Wawrowski plans to collect ideas and projects to share ideas with students, community, and colleagues. Ultimately, she hopes to involve her colleagues and be able to hold a STEAM fair once or twice a school year that is open to the community. Of course, this is only one item on Ms. Wawrowski's "STEAM Bucket List". Other goals include creating and proposing a STEM class for Middle School Credit as well as creating a cross curricular project with her Science, Social Studies, and ELA colleagues. There is so much to explore and the possibilities are endless.
