Emily Richey

Ms. Emily Richey received her BA in Biology, minor in Chemistry, and concentration in Elementary and Special Education (1-6) from Le Moyne College in 2017. She completed her MSEd in Inclusive Adolescence Biology and Special Education (7-12), with a specialization in Autism, at Nazareth University in 2018. Ms. Richey has eight years of teaching experience, including five years at Cattaraugus-Little Valley CSD. In 2023, she joined Orchard Park CSD, where she currently teaches seventh-grade science at Orchard Park Middle School. Ms. Richey serves on the OPMS Professional Learning Committee and works with colleagues to coordinate the OPMS STEAM Expo. Ms. Richey is an active member of STANYS, serving as the Southwestern Intermediate SAR and presenting at annual STANYS conferences. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Richey enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. Ms. Richey is honored to join this professional community of Master Teachers and looks forward to sharing her passion for science education with others.
