Emil Erlandson
Orchard Park Central School District Technology, Computer Science, & Robotics EngineeringEmil Erlandson earned his B.S. in Technology Education from SUNY Oswego and his M.S. in Technology Education from Buffalo State University. Mr. Erlandson has been teaching since 2019 at Orchard Park High School. He currently teaches Woodworking Technology, Furniture Production, Design and Drawing for Production and Introduction to Engineering (PLTW IED). In addition to teaching Project Lead the Way IED, Mr. Erlandson is also certified to teach Computer Integrated Manufacturing and Environmental Sustainability. Outside of his teaching duties Mr. Erlandson has been involved with his school by serving as a member of the Building Effectiveness Team and Building Technology Team in addition to serving as representative for his local union. Mr. Erlandson is involved with his local professional organization by running the Picture Frame Contest Event at NCCC Tech Wars; an event put on annually by the Western New York Technology Educators Association. Mr. Erlandson values his relationships with the Orchard Park community and has fostered various fundraising events and hand-crafted custom made furniture donations to the Orchard Park Solutions Center and Orchard Park Police Department respectively; mostly through the Technology Club he runs after school with students who are passionate about pursuing various technological pursuits. In his spare time he enjoys milling lumber on his sawmill, woodworking, and growing his Christmas Tree Farm that he started in 2025.
