Dawn Wardner earned her BS in Mathematics and her MSEd in Adolescence Education from St. Bonaventure University. Mrs. Wardner holds a Professional Certification in Mathematics grades 7 – 12 and began teaching in 2006. She is currently teaching Broadcasting, Algebra, and Geometry at Franklinville Central School. She paved the way for the development of the student created video morning announcements as part of the broadcasting class. Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Wardner helps advise the VEX robotics students at their competitions, where she helps to encourage them in creative problem solving. She is also a co-coach for LEGO robotics. She has spent the last several years as a class advisor. As a class advisor, she follows student cohorts from freshmen year through their senior year, helping advise and guide them through their educational and personal development. Outside of teaching, she spends time traveling, camping, and spending time with her large loving family. Mrs. Wardner is excited to join the Master Teacher Program to further develop her skills as an educator, so she can better contribute to the development of her students into successful participants in society.
