Daniel Drake

Mr. Daniel Drake is an Astronomy, Earth and Space Science, and Life Science Biology teacher at Orchard Park High School. He earned his B.A. in Biological Sciences from the University at Buffalo and his M.S. in Educational Computing from Buffalo State University. Daniel has been teaching for over 20 years and has served as an advisor for the Sophomore class, National Honor Society, and National Honor Society Tutoring. He is also an active mentor for both first-year, and student teachers. Outside of the classroom, Daniel enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children, vacationing, playing sports, and supporting them through all of their activities. As a Master Teacher, Mr. Drake looks forward to collaborating and networking with other Master Teachers, as well as supporting and mentoring pre-service teachers within the STEM fields.
