Bill Gallagher
Frontier Central High School MathWilliam Gallagher earned his B.A. in Broadcasting, B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education from SUNY College at Buffalo as well as his M.S. in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment from Walden University. Mr. Gallagher has taught for 17 years in the Frontier Central School District at both Frontier High School and Frontier Middle School and is currently teaching Algebra and Geometry at Frontier High School. While at Frontier, Mr. Gallagher has coached the Girls Cross Country team as well as the head coach of the inaugural Girls Flag Football team. He is also involved in the Frontier Central Teachers Association and serves as the Grievance Chair as well as the contractual negotiations team. Mr. Gallagher had the pleasure of serving on the Lancaster School District Board of Education from 2013-2019 and served as the Vice President of the Board for his last 2 years. Mr. Gallagher’s hobbies include golf, ice hockey, running. He has thoroughly enjoyed his time in education as he feels that this is the most rewarding career because he can help his students reach their academic and personal goals. Mr. Gallagher is very excited to be selected to the program and is looking forward to the numerous professional development opportunities that the NYS Master Teacher Program will provide to make him a better teacher, educator, and overall person.
