
Bailey King
Orchard Park High School ScienceBailey King holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, accredited by the American Chemical Society, from Mercyhurst University, where she also pursued minors in Psychology of Crime and Justice and Physics. She furthered her education with a Master’s in Secondary Education: Pedagogy and Practice. Since beginning her teaching career in 2019, Ms. King has been dedicated to inspiring and educating students with diverse interests and abilities. Currently, she teaches Regents Biology and Forensic Science at Orchard Park High School, where she focuses on engaging students with varied learning strengths. Ms. King is also a co-creator and co-advisor of the Society of Science Scholars, a science honors society designed to recognize students' ongoing interest and accomplishments in scientific studies. This role allows her to celebrate and foster students' academic success and curiosity in science. Outside the classroom, Ms. King enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Winston. She also has a passion for baking and creative projects. As a New York State Master Teacher, she is eager to collaborate with educators who bring diverse experiences and expertise, as well as to share her own knowledge and insights. She looks forward to continually growing as an educator to better serve her students and enhance their learning experiences.
