Arthur Eggink
Alden Senior High School TechnologyArthur Eggink earned his A.A.S. in Business Administration from Niagara County Community College, and his B.S. and M.S in Technology Education from The State University of New York College at Buffalo. He worked in many manufacturing, engineering, and technology-based companies. This includes a Sales representative and purchasing agent for Highland glen Manufacturing, a computer technician at Acres International, and a sales representative for Technology Distribution Network. In addition to this he served in the United States Army Reserve for 8 years in a Civil Affairs unit. Arthur became certified in technology Education in 2015 and taught for ½ year at East Aurora prior to moving to Alden Central School district in the fall of 2015. As of June 2022, Arthur has a total of 7.5 years of teaching technology education to high school students. Currently Arthur is teaching at Alden Senior High School at which he teaches the following courses: Metals Manufacturing 1 & 2, Introduction to Skilled Trades, and Bulldog Manufacturing which is a student run manufacturing company. Outside the Classroom, Arthur has coached multiple sports including Modified Football, and Varsity Rifle. In addition to this, he participates in the bi-annual international club trips, chaperones school dances, has been a club advisor for clubs including Future Business Leaders of America and the Sophomore and Senior Class. Personally, Arthur enjoys crafting fine furniture and creating odd one-off projects from custom counters to built in cabinetry. Arthur learned this craft from his grandfather, and he plans on passing this down to his children as they continue to find their own passions
