Andrea Mango
Dodge Elementary Math, Science, Technology/Engineering, Computer Science, RoboticsAndrea Mango earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre and Masters in Elementary Education-Birth-6th from Niagara University. Since 2005, Andrea has taught Kindergarten through second grade at Dodge Elementary in Williamsville, NY. Three years ago, Andrea left the regular classroom to create a STEAM program for her school. As part of this program she currently guides over 600 students in Kindergarten through Fourth Grade to solve problems, think critically, and work collaboratively. Andrea is the co-advisor of the Eco and Garden Clubs. She has been a guest on the STEM Everyday Podcast and Fueling Creativity podcast. She has provided professional development on creativity in the classroom for The Creative Thinking Network and has contributed to two books about weaving creativity into your curriculum. Through the Master Teacher Program, Andrea is looking forward to connecting with other educators about STEM and STEAM and developing more open ended problem solving challenges for her students.
