Amy Sorrentino earned her B.A. in Adolescent Mathematics Education from Canisius College and her M.S. in Multidisciplinary Studies from SUNY Buffalo State. Mrs. Sorrentino currently teaches Algebra 2 Regents and dual-enrollment Precalculus with SUNY Erie at Amherst High School.  Outside of the classroom, she advises the Red Cross Club. Mrs. Sorrentino was recognized as the Teacher of the Month was also voted, by students, as the "Most Enthusiastic Teacher".  She is a member of the Association of Mathematics Teachers of New York State and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Mrs. Sorrentino is eager to apply her newfound knowledge, from the Master Teacher Program, to benefit the students in the district she loves. When she's not a mathlete, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and kids.
