Amy Graves-DeMario
Holland Central Junior/Senior High School ChemistryMrs. Graves-DeMario received her AAS from Alfred State College in Chemical Technology, her BS from Geneseo State College in Chemistry Secondary Education with a minor in Biology and her MEd in Science Education: Chemistry from the University at Buffalo. She began her working career as a chemical technician for WR Grace in Columbia, Maryland. After completing her BS, she choose to stay home during the early years of her two children's lives and started her career in education in 1998. Currently, she teaches Regents Chemistry and Physics along with AP Chemistry at Holland Central School. Her focal point when teaching students is in helping them develop a strong science foundation on which to grow. She keeps her passion for science alive through the crops that her family produces on their farm. Amy is a member of the American Chemical Society, STANYS, and a Holland Teachers Association Executive Committee Building Representative.
