Amanda Pacanowski earned her BS in Mathematics and MSEd from SUNY Fredonia. Mrs. Pacanowski has been in the classroom for 20 years. She currently teaches Mathematics and STEM courses at Fredonia Middle School. She enjoys finding innovative and creative ways to use resources to increase student motivation and achievement, and has designed and instituted an Innovation class, integrating coding, skills in STEM related fields, and the design thinking process. Throughout her career she has conducted workshops and presentations in local, and state settings. In addition to sharing her expertise with colleagues, she actively participates in Technology Integrator Forums and Advisory Panel through Erie 1 BOCES. She is an active member with the Association of Mathematics Teachers of New York State. Mrs. Pacanowski was awarded the NYSCATE Lee Bryant Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award in 2020. During her spare time, as a certified fitness instructor with many group fitness formats, she enjoys teaching fitness classes. She is excited to be a part of the NYS Master Teacher Program and eager to learn new teaching strategies from a dynamic group of professionals.
