Alan Tanski
Sherman Central School Technology and EngineeringAlan Tanski earned his BS and MS in Technology Education from SUNY Buffalo State and currently teaches Technology Education at Sherman Central School. As a technology educator for over 15 years he teaches Robotics, Solid Modeling/CAD, Welding and Fabrication, 7th and 8th Grade Technology, Transportation, Manufacturing, Small Engines, and Construction. Mr. Tanski is a MSSC Certified Production Technician teacher and is working toward partnering with a local business to prepare students for the workforce. Mr. Tanski enjoys designing JCC STEM wars robotic competitions where numerous schools from the local area compete in events as well as exposing them to a local industrial job fair. Mr. Tanski looks forward to working with many other STEM professionals to develop cutting edge curriculums that will motivate future generations to pursue careers in STEM related fields.
