Adrienne Moran
Douglas J. Regan Intermediate School MathematicsAdrienne Moran earned her MSED in Literacy Instruction from Niagara University in 2008 after receiving her B.S. in Elementary Education from Grove City College in 2007. She is employed at Starpoint Central School District where she taught at the primary level for 4 years and for the past 8 years has taught fifth grade, specializing in math and science. Adrienne has acted in leadership roles throughout her district at the grade, building, and district level, advocating for the needs of both colleagues and students. She is part of the design team for her school’s Makerspace, incorporating STEM with play to help students bring their ideas to life. She believes in using technology to connect school to home. Most recently, she developed a flipped classroom program and designed videos to align with the math curriculum. Adrienne loves to spend time outdoors running, hiking, and camping and is fascinated by the math and science phenomenon she finds in nature. As a NYS Master Teacher, Adrienne is excited for the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from other passionate, committed teachers and to bring those practices back to share with her students and colleagues.
