Aaron Nolan

Depew Middle School Technology

Aaron Nolan earned his B.S. and his M.S. in Technology Education from Buffalo State.  Mr. Nolan has been teaching Technology Education for twelve years. His love for technology education started as a high school student under the influence and guidance of his high school technology teachers. Currently at Depew Middle School, Mr. Nolan teaches the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) gateway program to seventh and eighth grade students, as well as Adaptive Technology and a new Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) elective for sixth graders. His peers selected him as the district’s teacher of the year in 2014.  Outside of the classroom, Mr. Nolan is the advisor for the school’s Technology and Computer clubs. He is also involved in several school committees, and is the Depew Wildcat during assemblies. One of the things Mr. Nolan is most passionate about is exposing his students to STEAM and getting them to realize that STEAM is all around them. As part of the Master Teacher program, Aaron is looking forward to sharing his knowledge and learning for other teachers across the region.
